So as to enrich the cultural life of scholarly campus, train students’ psychological quality as well as boost their abilities in oral expression, on the afternoon of 18th April, at the merging classroom, taking the ‘Happy Reading Festival’ as an opportunity, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Primary Department held the on-the-spot storytelling competition designated for Grades 2 and 3.
To be specific, the contestants of each class in this contest stood out through a series of selections. On the one hand, they were full of spirit, energy and enthusiasm, liberal and dignified. On the other hand, candidates connected the objects in the pictures by means of cadence, abundant emotions, vivid body movement in addition to bold imagination, which not only graphically presented everyone with amusing fairy tales one after another, but also won thunderous applause from teachers and students in the meantime.
To conclude, through fierce competition, student Xiang Zhihao from Class 2, Grade 2 had the honor to obtain the first prize. After the marvelous contest, Principal Huang Zuning with the Primary Section praised the children, kindly encouraging them to be imaginative, diligent in reading from now on and  learn how to observe and express themselves more in life to make their childhood more fascinating and splendid.
